As the Host Mountain Resort, Whistler aims to use the 2010 Winter Games to foster business success, maximize tourism opportunities, build awareness for Whistler, and build capacity within its arts, culture, and heritage communities.

Whistler will host six of the 15 competition and non-competition venues for the 2010 Winter Games and will be the location of a Celebration Site featuring interactive exhibits, displays, and broadcasts of competition and cultural events.
