International Olympic Committee (IOC)

With the primary responsibility to supervise the organization of the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is an international non-governmental, non-profit organization. Founded in 1894 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the IOC maintains its role as a leader and the creator of the Olympic Movement. The IOC owns all rights to the Olympic symbols, flag, motto, anthem, and the Olympic Games.
