On December 12th, many Canadians celebrated the spirit of the 2010 Winter Games as the Olympic Torch Relay passed through the heart of Canada’s Capital Region and lit up Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
As it travelled across Canada, the Olympic Torch Relay brought Canadians together and fostered a sense of enthusiasm and pride.
The Olympic Torch Relay community celebrations were opportunities for Canadians to come together and showcase our diversity and our rich history.
The Government of Canada invited all Canadians to get ready to host the 2010 Winter Games as the Olympic Flame made its way through all the provinces and territories.
