This handbook was made possible through an ongoing collaboration between the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia to enable Canadian businesses to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

This handbook is adapted from material the BC Secretariat originally developed for a 2010 Business Opportunities Workshop program for British Columbia businesses.

We would also like to acknowledge the important role played by Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD), which collaborated with the BC Secretariat in developing the original British Columbia 2010 Business Opportunities Workshop program and workbook. Along with Industry Canada, WD also led a pilot project to adapt this material for use beyond British Columbia.
